FAQ
- HOSHI is designed for atmosphere, not harsh brightness. Think of it as a mood lamp rather than a task light. It's not designed to replace your main ceiling light
- It gives off a soft, warm glow that gently lights the area around it — ideal for evenings, bedside tables, living room corners, and relaxed ambient lighting
- HOSHI's glow is warm and golden, with a soft orange tone. It sits around 2700–3000K, similar to warm evening light
- Cooler white lighting, often used in offices or task-focused spaces, is usually closer to 4000–6000K+, which is much brighter and feels more clinical
- HOSHI is intentionally warmer to help the room feel more relaxed and atmospheric at night
- HOSHI works best wherever you want to create a softer evening atmosphere — beside the sofa, on a bedside table, on a shelf, or in a cosy corner. It is especially useful in rooms where the big light feels too harsh at night.

- It's 12cm (5") wide and 26cm (10") tall
- HOSHI is USB-powered and comes with a USB cable. You’ll just need to connect it to your own USB plug adaptor or any suitable USB power source
- Yes. HOSHI comes with a built-in LED light
- HOSHI has a simple in-line switch on the cable, so you can turn the glow on and off without unplugging it. Three brightness settings let you adjust the light to your preference.
